North Idaho Events and Activities

Now in existence for over 21 years, the People Helping People Auction is Priest Lake’s premier community fund raising event. The People Helping People grant fund continues to strive to make available financial support to the community. We hope that you will be able to participate this year and experience first hand the pride we all take in supporting our community. Auction items such as sporting events, fine art, jewelry, gourmet dinning and guided tours are donated to encourage your bidding.

Sponsorship and donations are welcome all year long, but our main fundraising event is the Auction. Traditionally held the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend at the stunning Elkin’s Resort. This lakeside event is part of the Spring Festival, kicking off summer. Guests enjoy fabulous auction items, scrumptious dinner and beverages and reconnect with friends all while supporting our beloved Priest Lake.

The people Helping People Grant Fund was established 22 years ago and has contributed over $800,000 to non-profit organizations at Priest Lake. Grants are awarded by an application process and reviewed on a quarterly basis by the People Helping People Board of Directors.

Mark your calendar now and plan to attend the Auction on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Sponsor a table, bring your friends, credit cards and plan to have a great time. Festivities start at 4pm at Elkins Resort.

The event starts at 4pm and includes Live and Silent Auctions, Wine Social and buffet dinner.
